2014 Topps Heritage Baseball is back for its 14th consecutive year with the product that set builders, autograph seekers, and traditionalists agree is a must have. Every year this loyal customer base looks forward to the release of Heritage and this year is no different. 2014 Topps Heritage will feature 500 cards of today’s players on the classic 1965 design. These cards feature all the biggest veterans and rookies, plus new inserts, variations, error cards, and buybacks that celebrate key events from 1965. The last 75 cards are short printed and inserted one in every three packs. Of course, there will also be Real One Autographs and Clubhouse Collection relic cards that are the staples of Heritage baseball as there will be one autograph or relic card in every box.
Parallel cards are something Heritage fans are accustomed to and 2014 is no different. The usual lineup of parallels is set for another round based on the 1965 design:
Black Backs – features the base cards with the backs in black. This pays homage to the Topps Venezuela cards produced in the 1960’s.

Mini Base variations – sequentially numbered to 100, these cards are mini versions of the regular base card. Highly sought after by player collectors.
Chrome inserts – cards from the base set in Chrome technology.
Chrome Refractor inserts – cards from the base set in Chrome Refractor technology. These cards are a little harder to come by and will most likely be sequentially numbered to just 565 copies each.

Gold Bordered Chrome Refractor inserts – cards from the base set in Chrome Refractor technology with gold borders. These cards are extremely hard to come by as they are sequentially numbered to just 5 and found only in hobby boxes.
Base Card variations have gained in popularity in the past few years with Heritage enthusiasts and this year proves no different. Here is what you can find:
Error cards – these cards are error cards intentionally made to reproduce the errors of the 1965 Topps set.

Throwback Uniform variations – these cards feature players in throwback uniforms.
Action Image variations – these hobby only cards feature new images of star players in action.
Logo Variations – these hobby only cards feature alternate logo variations for star players.

Then and Now – cards comparing the statistical performances of a player from 1965 and a current star.

New for 2014 Topps Heritage, Topps introduces 1965 Topps Embossed. A recreation of the Topps Embossed cards from 1965 featuring top current players and U.S. Presidents.

2014 Topps Heritage First Draft Johnny Bench
Also new for 2014 Topps Heritage is the introduction of 1st Draft Card. These inserts celebrate the inaugural edition of the MLB draft.
Autographs are something Heritage collectors love. Why? Because not only does Heritage usually have big time Hall of Famers but every autograph is ON CARD! This is the way that all autograph cards should be. 2014 Topps Heritage autographs can be found in the following variations:

2014 Topps Heritage Ernie Banks Auto
Real One Autographs – Players that appeared for the last time on a Topps card in 1965 will sign a reproduction of that card, as well as superstars from 1965 and active favorites.
Real One Special Edition Autographs – The same players as above will sign 65 cards in red. These cards will be hand numbered to 65.
Real One Dual Autographs – Cards signed by both a retired and active player. These cards will be hobby only and hand numbered to 25.
Real One Triple Autographs – Cards signed by both a retired and active player. These cards will be hobby only and hand numbered to 5.

2014 Topps Heritage Clubhouse Collection Auto Miguel Cabrera
Clubhouse Collection Autograph Relics – Cards with a relic and autograph. These cards will be numbered to 25 copies each.
Clubhouse Collection Dual Autograph Relics – Cards with a two relics and two autographs. These cards will be numbered to 10 copies each.
Flashback Autographed Relics – Retired subjects will sign cards featuring a highlight from their 1965 season. These cards will be numbered to 25.
1965 Cut Signatures – Cards featuring signatures from stars of 1965. All of these cards are numbered one of one.

Clubhouse Collection – Active players will be featured with a game-used piece of memorabilia. There will also be a gold parallel numbered to 99 copies each.
Clubhouse Collection Dual Relic – Cards featuring a game-used relic piece from both an active player and a retired star. These cards are hand numbered to 65.
Clubhouse Collection Triple Relic – Cards featuring a game-used relic piece from three active players and three retired stars. These cards are hand numbered to 25.
Clubhouse Collection Quad Relic – Cards featuring a game-used relic piece from four active players and four retired stars. These cards are hand numbered to 10.

Book Cards – Includes a jumbo patch, bat knob, or a bat plate in a book card. All book cards will be numbered 1 of 1.
‘65 Mint – Cards featuring an event from 1965 along with a coin minted in that year. These will be in hobby packs only and can be found one per case:
Nickel: numbered to 15
Dime: numbered to 10
Quarter: numbered to 5
Half Dollar: numbered 1 of 1
1965 U.S. Postage Stamp Relics – These stamp cards include a photo of an event or player matched up with a stamp from 1965. These special stamp cards are numbered to 50.
1965 Topps Complete Set Redemption – A redemption card for a complete Topps set from 1965.

1965 Topps Flash Gordon Buybacks – Topps has gone out into the marketplace and bought back some of these vintage original cards from 1965. These cards will be stamped with the 50th anniversary logo.

Box loaders – Collectors love getting a little extra bonus for their money and in 2014 Topps Heritage, they should not be disappointed. The same box loaders from last year make their way into 2014 Topps Heritage this year, 1965 style:
Advertising Panels – Special 3 card panels just like those used to advertise Topps product in 1965. These panels can be found in every other box and are only found in hobby boxes.
1965 Topps Originals – Original 1965 cards are repurchased, foil-stamped, and inserted in boxes. Every card from the original 1965 Topps set is included. These cards can be found in every other box and are only found in hobby boxes.
1965 Oversized Baseball Players – Styled after the 1965 Presidents & Famous Americans, these hobby only box loaders are limited to 50 copies each. There is a relic parallel limited to 25 copies each and an autograph parallel limited to 10 copies each.
