The 2008 Topps Heritage cards hit the market on February 27th, and collectors are going crazy for 2008 Topps Heritage cards. The quality and selection of this years set is very good, as usual. The 2008 Topps Heritage chrome set has a lot more star players than last years chrome set, and the chrome cards were divided into two separate subsets. The first 100 chrome cards in the set came in packs of Topps Heritage cards, and numbers 101-200 came in Topps Chrome packs.
Topps threw an unexpected twist into 2008 Topps Heritage with 110 black back variation cards inserted with the standard green back cards. You can find more information on the black back cards at our black back variation checklist page.
The three main insert sets (New Age Performers, Flashbacks and Then and Now) are included in the 2008 Topps Heritage set, and there is even a new insert set, the 2008 Topps Heritage News Flashbacks set which consists of major news headlines that took place in 1959.
