The 2008 Topps Heritage Chrome set was a major upgrade of the 2007 Heritage Chrome set. The 2008 set features quite a few superstars and stars, which was lacking in the 2007 set. The 2008 Topps Heritage Chrome set is the largest of the Heritage era, consisting of 200 cards. The cards were broken up into two series, with cards 1-100 being found in Topps Heritage packs, and cards 101-200 being found in Topps Chrome packs. The later series cards are Topps Heritage chrome cards that were inserted as inserts with the Topps Chrome packs. They still have the 1959 design and are still numbered to 1959, as the first 100 chromes were. Some of the stars in included in the 2008 Topps Heritage chrome set include C.C. Sabathia, Ryan Braun, David Wright, Tim Lincecum, Albert Pujols, Chase Utley, Alex Rodriguez, Joba Chamberlain, Josh Hamilton and more!
